There are a wide range of options to make your fixtures and fittings more sustainable.

Bathroom

Toilets

Mecon and Interflush water saving devices are great retro-fit options that can allow you to change your existing toilet into a water saving one (approx. 50% savings have been calculated). The use of things like Hippos and bricks can reduce the demand, but they are quite blunt instruments and therefore can lead to additional use rather than savings - those difficult flushes that need a full flush if you know I what I mean. No end of half flushes will work there!

Showers

Water restrictors can mean that you will suffer from cold feet as there is not enough water to keep its heat from head to toe. Aerators are probably a better option as these make the water feel more volumatic.
