InsOwall Insulating Plaster

This is a new and exciting product that allows you to radically improve solid wall insulation from either the inside or outside of external walls. It is a direct replacement for render or plaster and is based around nano-technology where it traps air in its structure to provide an excellent thermal barrier.

It is applied like conventional plaster / render but is very lightweight and so can be installed up to 40mm thick. At this thickness it improves the thermal performance of a solid brick wall by over 50%. So it is ideal for those areas where the conventional 100mm thick solutions are just not viable.

If used on the outside it needs a protective covering and we would recommend using a breathable silicate paint as this is very long lasting and maintains the breathable nature of the plaster. Internally it can be covered by any conventional paint or finish, however again we would recommend using a natural breathable paint.

Ideal for use in older buildings where breathability is important and where energy saving is difficult to achieve.

The product has been tested by the EST and so has independent evidence to back it up.
