Natural painting

There is a growing interest in natural paints for the home. This is because there is a growing awareness of the harm that some of the chemicals used in conventional paints have. VOC or Volatile Organic Compounds create low level ozone and this can cause a range of problems especially for those who suffer from breathing conditions like asthma.

We naturally supply paints from the centre that are VOC free and natural, however you can make your own paints from natural materials. Our Training and Education Officer is currently running a number of courses in the SE Wales area to teach people how to make the paints, how to use them and where they are best applied.
