AURO 250 Gloss is suitable for internal or external use on wood or metal. Available in white or a range of naturally tinted premixed colours.
AURO 260 Matt Silk Paint is the perfect topcoat for interior projects where a high gloss finish is not desired. Great for kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, doors, toys and much more. Durable, protective, and easy, water clean-up. It can also be used as an eggshell finish for walls in areas of high humidity like kitchens and bathrooms, but is primarily a wood finish. AURO 260 is for INTERNAL use ONLY.
Unlike acrylics, Auro solvent free gloss paint are not prone to cracking and peeling. The exterior gloss system is expected to last 3 - 5 years when properly applied. They are both tough and flexible, but because no volatile solvents or chemical hardeners are used, drying times are dependent on temperature and humidity to a greater extent than with conventional paints. Dust dry in 6 – 9 hours, re-coatable after 24 hours. Final hardness reached in about 3 days. We always recommend using our 253 Undercoat with this product as a complete system for best results.

These paints are both tough and flexible, but because no volatile solvents or chemical hardeners are used, drying times are dependent on temperature and humidity to a greater extent than with conventional paints. This means on the one hand, that conditions should be cool and moist (temperatures not exceeding 21oc/70oF) to avoid over rapid drying of paint during application. On the other hand, after painting, warm dry conditions are desirable to speed up completion of the job. Good ventilation should be maintained at all times.
