Osmo WOOD PROTECTOR CLEAR is an unique preservative wood wax primer. It is based on natural oils and waxes and produced entirely without biocides and therefore absolutely safe for indoor use. It is extremely water-repellent.
This unique product offers - without employing biocides - the ideal possibility to protect indoor (and also outdoor) wood when there is a danger of blue stain and mildew i.e. pine and spruce floors and panellings in rooms and areas with high humidity and high temperatures which particularly further the growth of these wood pests.
It is thin bodied and can therefore also be applied by dipping.
If possible it should be applied on all sides of the wood and requires a finishing coat within 7-10 days.
Product based on natural oils and waxes
Osmo WOOD PROTECTOR is based on natural vegetable oils and waxes. Natural oils and waxes penetrate deeply into the wood, keeping it elastic and healthy, and preventing it from getting dry and brittle.
Shrinking and swelling are reduced. The wood is allowed to breathe. Moisture can evaporate.
Application quantity: 120-160 ml/sqm Dipping time: approx. 2 minutes
Osmo WOOD PROTECTOR is not a wood finish by itself. It requires a finishing coat, preferably OS COLOR Wood Wax Finish, HARDWAX-OIL or OS COLOR Opaque Gloss Wood Stain within approx. one week after application.
