These are direct GU10 replacement bulbs that are very low energy.
A 4w bulb is an equivalent to a 40w halogen and the 5w for a 50w.
These are the same size and fittings as halogens and so you can replacement them as funds allow. But at a tenth of the consumption the savings in certain key areas of the home can be significant.
