There are a growing number of examples of sustainable buildings in the UK and around the world. Sustainability of a very movable feast and means different things to different people, to some it is using natural materials, other energy efficiency is the key, others it is a combination of a range of factors like location, accessibility, adaptability as well as locally sourced materials. With that in mind we have chosen a few well known and a few less well known examples to share with you. We have also split them into broad categories in order to make life a little clearer.
